The Wonderful World Of a Pre-Owned Mercedes GLC

On the surface, the Mercedes-Benz GLC-Class comes in two flavours: traditional five-door crossover, and Coupe. Well, four-door coupe to be precise, even if its aggressively-slanted roofline suggests otherwise.

As you dig down deeper, however, there’s a lot more than two flavours, which is what makes the pre-owned market for these so interesting.

Take the GLC 300 model, for example. Technically, it’s one of the entry-level versions of the GLC but with a four-cylinder 2.0-litre turbo engine and over 240 horsepower, it’s no slouch. And you still get all the luxury you expect from a Mercedes; high-quality leather upholstery, bright trim pieces and Burmester audio.

Fast forward to the other end of the spectrum and what to we have here? The GLC 63 S 4Matic, a fire-breathing biturbo V8-powered maniac that almost crests 470 horsepower and has the handling, brakes and tires to put the wood not just to other performance crossovers, but full-blooded sports cars, as well. Now there’s one you may want to look for in four-door coupe form as the more aggressive styling that model provides is the perfect fit for so much power.

Or maybe you want a mix of both; for that, you’ll want to look for the AMG GLC 53, which adds a third engine to the mix: a turbocharged straight six good for about 430 horsepower but with a more relaxed chassis than you get with the 63, for more of an all-rounder.

No matter which GLC you select, however, you’ll be treated to customary Mercedes quality. Top-drawer leather upholstery, technologically advanced interiors (with fully digitized dashes in some models), premium Burmester audio and Apple CarPlay plus Android Auto compatibility. If you’re lucy enough, you may even find one with augmented-reality navigation, one of the latest advancements in on-board technology.

Come pay us a visit; we’re sure we can find a GLC that fits your lifestyle, and your budget!
