The 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC gets more tech and more features

Introduced this week, the 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC promises to deliver improved fuel economy and efficiency as well as a wide range of enhanced safety, off-road, and towing technology. It features a new mild-hybrid system for added power and better fuel consumption. Let's take a look at the most significant changes made to the 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC.

The new 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC is coming this spring

The 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC offers improved efficiency thanks to the addition of a new mild-hybrid system found in the turbocharged 2.0-litre powertrain. Powering the 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC 300, this new engine will deliver 255 hp and 295 pound-feet of torque, a significant increase compared to the previous GLC. The new 48-volt hybrid system and second-generation Integrated Starter Generator will provide added boost as needed but will also help with operations in order to ensure optimal efficiency.

Stepping inside the 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC, we notice a brand-new interior highlighted by a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster along with a new 11.9-inch centre portrait display which is very similar to the new display found in the Mercedes-Benz S-Class. This new centre display will house the latest generation of MBUX technology which this year provides added voice command capability as well as improved graphics and user-friendliness. The Mercedes-Benz GLC will also be more versatile and practical and will offer 600 L of total cargo space, a significant improvement over the previous GLC. There will also be more space for your passengers inside.

The 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC will continue the impressive tradition of off-road capability of the current GLC with standard off-road driving mode and an off-road screen that provides useful information when going off the beaten path. This new screen provides information such as inclination and gradient to help you navigate the toughest conditions. The GLC will also feature a new «transparent hood camera» which allows you to see what is happening very close to your vehicle which will be useful in tough off-road driving conditions. The GLC also gets enhanced safety features as well as improved towing capability. Give us a call today to learn more about the 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC.
