The 2021 Mercedes-Benz S-Class: A High-End Car

2021 will bring the new generation of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class models, which are even more innovative and luxurious than the previous generation. The designers and engineers in Stuttgart, Germany, have put pedal to the metal, as they unveil their seventh-generation luxury sedan.

Mercedes-Benz Blainville, near Saint-Jérôme, Terrebonne, Sainte-Thérèse, Laval and just a few minutes from Montreal, knows how to make things easy and pleasant, and now presents the all-new 2021 Mercedes-Benz S-Class.

A Luxury Sedan with Redefined Style!

The new 2021 S-Class features a sumptuous interior. Indeed, the harmony sought between digital and analog luxury is reflected in a revolutionary interior layout that combines elements of interior architecture and design to please the driver. The sculptural design of the dashboard, centre console and armrests seems to blend with the landscape, especially with the new oversized screen. The reduction of control features emphasizes the modern minimalism of the interior. A fine dividing line between the upper part of the dashboard and the large decorative insert subdivides and creates a horizontal width effect with heads-up display.

In terms of comfort, the Germans did not cut corners. Heated, adjustable and ventilated genuine leather seats take you to paradise. Just sit back and relax and enjoy your next big adventure. Contrasting finishes highlight different characteristics. The divisions created by the stitching on the upholstered seats create a refined and avant-garde look, while the dynamic diamond stitching of the exclusive Nappa leather accentuates the classic, expressive and quite unique appearance of the S-Class of spring 2021.

A whopping 19 motors help you find the ideal seating position in the front seats. But comfort is not the only benefit of these seats: safety also plays a major role. And of course, this sense of well-being and luxury goes hand-in-hand with the AGR seal of approval from Aktion Gutes Rücken in Lower Saxony, Germany (Bremervörde), awarded to all the seats in the S-Class.

The new 2021 S-Class is powered by a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged 6-cylinder engine with 362 horsepower, but the more powerful models will be equipped with a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine with 463 horsepower.

Technologically speaking, there have been significant improvements, starting with the MBUX (Mercedes-Benz User Experience) system, which comes with new features: rear axle steering with wide steering angle and safety innovations such as the rear airbag, and the new Pre-Safe Impulse Side Lift feature that lifts the body just before a side impact with the E-Active Body Control active running gear. Even more fascinating, a light will automatically when you’re looking for something in the front passenger seat in the darkness.

What’s more, the first exterior photos show that the 2021 S-Class has a raised front grille, tapered curved lines and aerodynamic design.

Overall, the new Mercedes-Benz S-Class is inspiring, user-friendly with its many displays and functions, powerful and high-performing. There’s no doubt that the Germans have once again surpassed themselves to deliver the quintessence of innovation and luxurious comfort.
