Mercedes-Benz introduces a new update that improves the acceleration of EQE and EQS electric vehicles

Mercedes-Benz users have the opportunity to enhance their driving experience in a number of ways. Through the innovative Mercedes me connect online shop, owners of Mercedes-Benz vehicles including EQE and EQS electric vehicles can access a variety of performance-enhancing upgrades.

The Acceleration Increase update is one of them. This over-the-air update significantly increases the performance of certain electric vehicles at the touch of a button. In addition to this update, the Mercedes me connect shop also offers other improvements for the brand's vehicles.

Let's take a look at the latest update available to enhance the already impressive acceleration of the new Mercedes-Benz EQE and EQS electric vehicles.

Improved electrical performance with the Acceleration Increase update

The new performance-enhancing feature called Acceleration Increase is available for selected electric vehicles in the Mercedes-Benz range, including the Mercedes-Benz EQE 350 4MATIC and EQS 450 4MATIC for SUV and sedan versions.

Power is increased from 288 to 348 hp, which is an additional 60 hp for the EQE 350 Sedan and 4MATIC SUV. This increase in power translates into a 0-100 km/h acceleration time that is one second faster, providing an even more exhilarating driving experience. The Acceleration Increase update also brings a significant power upgrade to the 2023 Mercedes-Benz EQS 450 4MATIC sedan and SUV. These models will benefit from an impressive 80 hp increase, bringing total power to 435 hp. Thanks to this upgrade, the 0 to 100 km/h time of the EQS 450 SUV and sedan models is reduced to 4.8 seconds, providing an even more exciting driving experience.
