C-Class Specs for the 2020 Mercedes-Benz

Attractive more than ever, the Mercedes-Benz C-Class is becoming the benchmark for the German manufacturer with the star. Whether you're thinking about a sedan, coupe, convertible or even a wagon, the C-Class is packed with ingenuity, power and performance. The variety of the lineup largely explains its success, as the versions are both numerous and attractive.

Mercedes-Benz Blainville, near Terrebonne, Saint-Eustache, Boisbriand, Saint-Jérôme, Laval and just a few minutes from Montreal, takes an in-depth look at the Mercedes-Benz C-Class and tells you all about it in spectacular detail.

A Sedan, Coupe, Convertible or Wagon?

From the outset, the variety of the range impresses with its many different models: C 300 4MATIC, AMG C 43, AMG C 63 and AMG C 63 S. If you're offered four models, you should know that there are important variations under the hood: the first model can count on a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged engine that develops 255 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque. The AMG C 43 model is powered by a 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 engine spewing out 385 horsepower and 384 lb-ft of torque. The C 43 accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.7 seconds, while delivering an aggressive, muscular sound. The C 63 can count on a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine that produces 469 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque. The C 63 reaches 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds, 0.6 seconds less than the C 43. Finally, the C 63 S also relies on a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine that produces 503 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque. Either way, the engines on display clearly show that the 2020 Mercedes-Benz is powerful, flexible and equally capable on the road thanks to its 9G-TRONIC transmission.

Technologically, the C-Class is also a cutting-edge vehicle with a sleek body, a wide selection of wheels and all-LED lighting. All models in the class can count on a sumptuous, refined and luxurious interior. State-of-the-art innovations are complemented by five hand-finished wood trim options. A new 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and 10.25-inch centre display are available in all trim levels. Taking it one step further, with two steering wheel-mounted keypads, similar to those on smartphones, you can scroll, slide and select many settings and functions with your thumbs. Shift paddles, cruise control and more put control right in your hands. The AMG Interior Package includes a flat-bottomed sports steering wheel for a sporty look. If you want to push the audacity to the limit, you can equip your next 2020 Mercedes-Benz with a Sport Package as well. This includes AMG bodywork and wheels, an AMG radiator grille, and specially developed sports suspension and brakes.

More Teutonic Innovations!

With the Dynamic Select function, you can change the performance characteristics of the car at the touch of a button on the console. Five modes – ranging from relaxed ECO program to dynamic Sport+ mode – allow you to vary shift points, throttle response, steering feel and more. You can even create your own individual mode. In short, you'll decide what kind of driver you want to be today!

The C-Class offers useful, practical and well-thought-out innovations, from a range of advanced driver assistance devices to user-friendly technologies and pleasant luxury features. You can even change the style of the interior with 64 colours of LED ambient lighting. Finally, the new Mercedes me Connect services make your life easier; you can control vehicle features from your smartphone (including remote start), book a service appointment and much more.

All in all, the C-Class specs for the 2020 Mercedes-Benz clearly show that this range is refined, efficient and powerful. The results obtained on the track are even more eloquent this year, as the C-Class remains the world's best-selling luxury car.
